Over the last seven years our school has taken part in an annual Terry Fox Run in aid of cancer research. Our school initiates a coin drive each year to help raise funds for cancer research. In addition, we ask the children and families who take part in the run in our school to dedicate their run to someone they know who has been effected by this illness. Students fill out a running shoe picture and place that persons name on it before the run. These are then posted in the school. The run usually takes place on the last Friday of September and happens rain or shine.
