Destination Imagination is a program that helps students learn valuable higher level academic, dramatic and artistic skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, budgeting, project management, problem solving skills (logic, math and science), research and giving presentations. Students undertake projects in teams and work towards solving a series of challenges while competing with other teams. This program has been running at Promontory Heights for five years now and has had several teams complete and win at the regional and provincial finals. We have also sent teams to the Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee on three occasions.
